Nashville, Tenn.--February 22, 2007-- Carol Fay, the famous biscuit maker at the historic Loveless Cafe, is set to appear on Late Night with Conan O’Brien, Wednesday, February 28 (check your local listings for show times). This comes on the heels of an appearance on Martha (the Martha Stewart show) just weeks ago. Carol Fay will be teaching funnyman Conan O’Brien how to make her signature biscuits as well as savory sausage gravy. Will he be able to get her to reveal the secret biscuit recipe? Odds are not in his favor, but that probably won’t stop him from trying! Carol Fay, also known as "The Biscuit Lady," is no stranger to the spotlight, having appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, Travel Channel’s Taste of America, NBC's Today, and even on the cover of USA Today. Born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee, Carol Fay first began working at Nashville’s famous Loveless Cafe in 1979 as a dishwasher while she was still in high school. Today, twenty-seven years later, Carol Fay is the holder of the secret biscuit recipe, of which the Loveless Cafe serves up close to 6,000 biscuits a day. She also makes countless jars of old-fashioned preserves.
Be sure to tune in to NBC on Wednesday, February 28 to watch as Carol Fay cooks up biscuits and serves up laughs with Conan O’Brien. Check your local listings for more information.
