Jimmy Wayne Named FIRST EVER "Hot Guy of the Month"

New Single Rises to #7 on USA Today/ Mediabase Country Chart

NASHVILLE, TN – The Valory Music Co. artist Jimmy Wayne is featured as the "Hot Guy of the Month" in the current issue of People magazine’s Country special. Wayne is the first artist to be given this accolade in the series of special issues by People magazine.

In the feature, Wayne recounts some of his craziest female fan encounters which include moms playing matchmaker for their daughters at his concerts. He also discusses his ideal day off and the special qualities he looks for in a woman.

Wayne was quite humbled upon learning of People magazine’s accolade.

"It's a bit embarrassing," blushed Wayne. "However I'm very fortunate to have an amazing bunch of female fans and I'm very thankful for them."

Jimmy Wayne’s first new album in five years, Do You Believe Me Now, will be released on August 26th. The single of the same name rose to #7 this week on the USA Today/ Mediabase Country Chart. The singles holds steady at #8 on Billboard/ RR.

Wayne was also named on of People magazine’s "Sexiest Singers" in 2003.

PEOPLE’s Country Special issue is available at newsstands thru September 8th. Published quarterly, the special issue boasts a distribution of one million.

Wayne has a musical track record that includes a Top 10 self-titled album which garnered a string of hits on the Billboard Country chart including "Stay Gone" (#3); "I Love You This Much" (#6); and the Top 20 hits "Paper Angels" and "You Are," all co-written by Wayne .
