AARON TIPPIN AND SARAH PALIN SEEK TO "DRILL" MESSAGE INTO AMERICA’S FOUNDATION
Tippin Performs Before Thousands of Sarah Palin Supporters in Johnstown, PA
(Nashville, TN – October, 14 2008) – With the 2008 presidential election less than a month away, platinum-selling
Country music star Aaron Tippin and Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin have partnered to bring a message to the nation… "DRILL HERE, DRILL NOW!"
This past Saturday in Johnstown, PA, Tippin performed and introduced Governor Palin before her rally. With thousands in attendance, Tippin performed several of his signature hits and his new pro-drilling anthem, "Drill Here, Drill Now." By the end of the acoustic performance, Tippin had the entire crowd roaring with, "Drill, baby, drill!"
Tippin called out to the throng... "Here in Pennsylvania and across this land, there's a saying, 'when you talk the talk, you better walk the walk.' This lady talks the talk because she walks the walk!"
In addition to "Drill Here, Drill Now," Tippin also performed some of his biggest hits including "Where the Stars and Stripes and the Eagle Fly," "Kiss This," and "You’ve Got to Stand for Something."
Tippin has been one of Country music’s loudest voices during the course of this year’s road to the White House. Last week, he performed his new tune on Fox News’ Fox & Friends and recently went on The Shawn Hannity Show with Newt Gingrich to voice his concern on the issue.
