Atlantis Shoots to the Sky

The crew members prepared themselves as they flew to NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral,
Fla. at 12:35 P.M. on Monday Nov. 16th. The space shuttle Atlantis was waiting for them. Each
member had their own reflections before leaving on this mission. Commander Charlie Hobaugh mused,
“It's a real honor and pleasure to be here…Being together as a crew for nine months.”
“Atlantis’ is looking bright and shiny,” remarked the pilot Barry "Butch" Wilmore, who will be
